Manufacturer’s Warranty

It’s a common misperception that servicing should be undertaken at a main dealer in order to ensure warranty, however this isn’t the case, as long as your vehicle is fitted with genuine manufacturers parts when serviced the warranty remains, giving you the opportunity to have your vehicle serviced at a reasonable price rather than main dealer rates. The ‘Motor Vehicle Block Exemption’ regulation prevents manufacturers from forcing car owners to carry out their service plans at dealerships in order to uphold their warranty and states that each car manufacturer must make their service schedules available to all garages. This allows our trained technicians to carry out a dealership-equivalent service at a fraction of the price, all without affecting your warranty.

Cambelts

Cambelts/timing chains are fitted to the majority of vehicles on the road today, these must be replaced at certain intervals, if the cambelt/timing chain fails this could result in very costly repair ranging from hundreds to thousands. Manufacturers recommend replacement on a mileage or age basis just call the workshop for advice as to whether yours needs replacing a phone call could save you a very expensive bill.
